Let me introduce myself!

My name is Elaine. Heaven gifted me the idea for Gentle Paws Grooming in the fall of 2022.

Dog grooming is my passion! I enjoy that it lets me combine my love for animals with letting my compassion and creativity shine!

I offer one-on-one, private grooming services and cater to the individual needs of each of my clients.

I am PetTech First Aid & CPR Certified and strive to constantly learn more about grooming and the pet industry so I can offer high quality services.

My goal is for every dog to create a positive association with grooming - and eventually be excited to come!

I am also an animal communicator! Adding my intuition into my grooming practice has been pivotal in developing an added awareness of what each dog is experiencing and has allowed me to develop deep bonds with my clients.

I offer communication sessions to those inside and outside of my grooming practice to help pets and their families connect on a deeper level. I also add energy work into the mix when needed to help animals achieve balance in their life.

One-on-One Private Sessions

I love that I get to work privately with each dog. I can to get to know them and form a unique and lasting bond. Consistency builds trust, which is imperative to the grooming experience.

Working privately with each client also contributes to a much more relaxing and distraction free environment giving your dog the best chance for success.

Enrichment & Communication Focused

My goal is for every dog to enjoy their spa experience.

If they start to feel uneasy, I allow the dog to take breaks, or offer enrichment activities (like a play break, or a snuffle mat) that create positive associations with grooming.

I never push dogs past their threshold of comfort. Instead, I use these opportunities to help them become comfortable using positive reinforcement.

I proudly incorporate animal communication into my grooming practice. Being in tune with, and responding appropriately to what each dog is going through provides a deeper level of comfort, which leads to trust building.

Plus, sometimes it's just really fun to hear what they have to share!
